The Kpelle Coat — pronounced Pelle — is a nod to my father, who comes from the Kpelle tribe in Liberia. My dad was a fashionable man who effortlessly blended his intentional sense of style with his heritage, and this knee-length coat embodies both. With its double-breasted front, snap closure, side-seam pockets, and shawl collar, this wool coat is a striking piece that speaks before you do.
